Quantification of Wear in Total Knee Arthroplasty Femoral Components
Taber M. Ball
I am a Biology major and Evolutionary Medicine minor. During my time at UCLA, I wrote as an opinion columnist for the Daily Bruin, earned my EMT certification, worked as a public health research assistant for a project run by UCDavis, the CDC, and the FDA, and spent several years working in biomechanics for JVL Orthopaedic Research Group. My implant analysis work with JVL culminated in my capstone project exploring new methods of surface roughness measurement. After graduation, I will continue my research, study for the MCAT, and travel to Cuba where I will assist with pro-bono orthopaedic procedures.
