Capstone
I completed an internship at Pureland Global Venture in Singapore, where I applied my academic insights in healthcare data science to the investment sector. My primary focus was on Acuvu Medical, specifically analyzing the market potential of their product, HummingScope, in European and Southeast Asian markets. I developed a comprehensive data pipeline using Python, which integrated real-time and historical market data through APIs like Bloomberg, alongside SQL databases for data management. I employed advanced statistical techniques, including Monte Carlo simulations, to project market penetration and risk scenarios. Additionally, I used natural language processing (NLP) to analyze market trends and sentiments, which was vital for our strategy formulation. To enhance our stakeholder engagement, I created a custom CRM tool that automated the analysis of communications from over 50 stakeholders across 21 startups, using machine learning to prioritize insights. This experience not only honed my technical skills but also deepened my understanding of the complexities in healthcare investment. Learn more here.
