I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. I am a proud first-generation college student. I graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with my B.A. in Sociology and double minors in Applied Psychology and Educational Studies. I have my M.S. in Counseling with a specialization in College Counseling and Student Services and an emphasis in Professional Clinical Counseling. I love watching TV shows, visiting major league baseball stadiums, singing karaoke, and going to Disneyland.

My counseling philosophy is to approach students holistically. When I meet with a student, I want to ensure that every aspect of their identity is seen, validated, respected, and understood. I advocate for my students to help them reach their personal, academic, and professional goals as they navigate higher education. I am a huge proponent that for students to achieve academic success, the student must be doing well emotionally, mentally, socially, and physically.

What I enjoy most about my work is getting to meet students and learn about their inspirations, passions, and goals. I love working closely with students and taking a mentorship approach to guide students through the challenges they face in higher education. I aspire to work closely and be a pillar of support for students to reach their fulfillment.
