I consider Pasadena, CA my hometown but currently call Inglewood, CA home. I earned my B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from UC Riverside, with concentrations in Business Administration and Spanish. Later, I moved to Boston, MA, where I pursued a Master’s in College Student Development and Counseling at Northeastern University. Beyond my professional life, I enjoy cooking, baking, traveling, and dancing—always seeking new ways to experience the world and embrace new adventures.

My counseling philosophy begins with ensuring that students’ wellness and basic needs are met, recognizing that a strong foundation is essential for academic and personal success. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel heard, valued, and equipped with the resources they need to thrive. From there, I empower them to harness their strengths and passions to create a meaningful college experience. I encourage them to step outside their comfort zones, embrace challenges, and explore new opportunities for growth.

What I love most about my work is hearing students share their goals, passions, and aspirations—both inside and outside the classroom. Their resilience and ambition inspire me every day, and I strive to learn as much from them as I hope they learn from me.
