The Undergraduate Research Center has announced that the 13th annual UCLA Undergraduate Research Week will be held May 18-22, 2026!
As UCLA’s largest undergraduate conference, Undergraduate Research Week is a campus-wide celebration of research and creative inquiry. The main event is the virtual Undergraduate Research & Creativity Showcase on Tuesday, May 19, which will feature hundreds of live student presentations via Zoom. The week will also include pre-recorded research presentations, special student panels, roundtable discussions, and events hosted by our partners across campus.

Department, Program, or Student Organization Submissions
If a department, program, or student organization is producing an event this spring quarter highlighting undergraduate research or creative inquiry, they may submit their event to be included in Undergraduate Research Week 2026!
Events can be in-person, virtual, or hybrid. Events may include presentations, poster sessions, exhibitions, performances, screenings, roundtable discussions, concerts, panels, slams, showcases, podcasts, and more.

Students Submission
Students may submit their research or creative inquiry projects to the Undergraduate Research & Creativity Showcase. Students may present research that is completed or in-progress.
Students will have three options when they apply to the Showcase. They can (1) present their research live via Zoom on May 19 (2) submit a pre-recorded presentation to be hosted on the website for the full week or (3) submit a digital or creative project to be hosted on the website for the full week.
Applications for the Undergraduate Research & Creativity Showcase will open on MyUCLA on March 1. Applications are due by April 15.
